They include protein, vitamins, large amounts of vitamin PP, folic acid, minerals, trace elements (phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, zinc, sodium, iron, copper). In oysters there also have been found the presence of anti-cancer substances and components lowering cholesterol in blood.
